Excellent Endocrinologist Opportunity, Norwalk, Connecticut– One Hour from New York City
Norwalk Hospital, part of Nuvance Health, is seeking a 5th Endocrinologist to join our collegial and growing employed clinical team in Norwalk, Connecticut, located just one hour outside of New York City in suburban Fairfield County. We practice the full range of Endocrinology and Diabetes with in-office ultrasound for thyroid biopsies and in system access to our Certified Diabetes and Nutrition Center, Thyroid – Parathyroid Center, Metabolic – Weight Loss Center and Inpatient Diabetes Management Quality Improvement Team. Our system has dedicated Endocrinology surgery and radiology services including Radioactive iodine therapy. Full-time and part-time (32 hours/week and above) scheduling options will be considered.
The ideal candidate will be board certified/eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism and looking to join a dedicated and collegial team. Interest in general endocrine, thyroid, and/or parathyroid disorders are welcome. The position is mainly outpatient based with some inpatient consults at Norwalk Hospital. Our hospital is staffed by a superb group of hospitalist physicians and medical trainees.
We are located about 50 miles northeast of New York City in Fairfield County, near the border of Westchester and Putnam Counties in New York State. Norwalk Hospital has 366 beds and is also a Level II Trauma Center with approximately 50,000 ED visits per year. As a teaching hospital, we are associated with the University of Vermont College of Medicine, Ross University, American University of the Caribbean, and Yale School of Medicine. Our Medical Group includes 1000+ physicians and advanced practice providers, serving a geographically broad region throughout Western Connecticut and eastern New York.
Norwalk Hospital is ideally situated in Fairfield County, Connecticut, along the Long Island Sound.
